Hawaii Five-0 season 7, episode 19 preview: Return date for Alex O’Loughlin series

Tonight on CBS, we are getting an episode of Hawaii Five-0 that is especially explosive. After all, there’s a guest spot coming from Darius Rucker, and to go along with that, we’ll have McGarrett and Danny running around in the jungle while dealing with a bomb crisis. Let’s just say that Hawaii Five-0 season 7, episode 19 has its work cut out for it trying to figure out how to top this level of excitement.

Luckily, this is a show that does have a great tendency of being able to make this sort of stuff happen! They constantly mix things up, and find some ways to make things light and funny at times, and also dark and gravely serious at others. The title for the next episode airing on March 10 is “Puka ‘ana (Exodus),” and of course we have further details all about it.

Synopsis – “McGarrett and Kono suspect that an abused young girl may be the victim of a sex trafficking ring on the Island. Also, Chin and Grover investigate a murder at a sober living facility.”

Tonight was a pretty great showcase for Alex O’Loughlin given that the majority of the episode was spent for him dealing with the bomb suspect. McGarrett thrives under pressure, so working with Kono in this episode should make for some powerful sequences and heavier scenes. The question that we have when reading this synopsis is “where’s Danny,” given that he’s not mentioned in either of these investigations. Maybe someone actually took his sunglasses this time around and he’s off chasing them somewhere? It’s certainly possible given what we know about this show at the moment. Unfortunately, we do anticipate that the schedule will bounce around like a beach ball throughout March since this is typically the way it rolls after February sweeps. We’ve only got seven episodes left, and the show has to get to May. Not only that, but there are also some weeks it’ll be off most likely due to the NCAA Tournament, which tends to ALWAYS cause chaos for CBS when we get around to March.
