‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Raven Gates, Nick Viall’s muddy date; Andi Dorfman’s arrival
With us getting closer and closer to the new episode of “The Bachelor” Monday night, we figured that now would be the best time possible to give you a couple more sneak peeks — even if they’re rather brief ones — detailing some of what’s going to be coming up.
First, let’s start with the hometown date between Raven Gates and Nick Viall, which is probably not getting a whole lot of attention just because this is one probably on paper the most ordinary of the hometown dates that you’re going to get on this show. Just look at the other three — Rachel Lindsay’s is going to lead to a discussion about race, Vanessa Grimaldi’s is taking place all the way in Montreal, and Corinne Olympios is … well, Corinne Olympios. Anything that she does is going to be out-there, and the show seems very intent on playing up her lifestyle and all of the money she had.
The most noteworthy part of the date with Nick and Raven just seems to be the potential threat of leeches, given that these two are rolling around in some muddy pond. It does seem romantic and in-the-moment, so hats off to the two of them. It’s also not something that you tend to ever really see in actual life. They’ve got great chemistry, so it’s not all that difficult to know why there are so many people out there rooting for the two of them.
As for the second preview that we’ve got for the episode, this one serves mostly as a reminder that Andi Dorfman is in fact going to be returning on this episode, and we anticipate that as a result of that, there’ll be a whole lot of hype and dramatic music tonight … even though the moment is probably complete fluff. If Andi wanted to be on this season, she had a chance to do that many episodes ago. This “encounter” feels mostly like ABC just wanted something to put in a commercial like this one.
