‘Talking Dead’ lineup: Seth Gilliam, Cooper Andrews, and a MYSTERY GUEST talking ‘New Best Friends’

talkingTonight’s “Walking Dead” episode is actually REASONABLY close — at least by its recent standards — to ending at just an hour long. You’re going to see “Talking Dead” begin at around 10:06 p.m. Eastern time, so there may be a chance for some of you out there to watch it even if you’re early birds or people who have to go to work in the morning.

The lineup tonight is one that we also like to think offers up a little bit of information as to what you’re going to be seeing on “New Best Friends” — which has to be one of the more entertaining episode titles that we’ve seen for the show in a rather long span of time.

Seth Gilliam – The actor behind Father Gabriel will be offering up some of his own insight on his story, and we are hoping this means that we’ll get some answers tonight regarding why he took some of the stuff. Here’s to hoping that we’re inching ever closer to Gabriel’s redemption and whatever he did is not anywhere near as nefarious as it may seem on the surface.

Cooper Andrews – He’s still a relative newcomer to this show, but he plays Jerry and we figure that you’re going to be seeing more of him tonight. We also really liked him on “Halt and Catch Fire,” so how’s THAT for a little bit of AMC synergy? It’s going to be nice to have him around this show, as well.

Mystery Guest – You know what this means … actually you don’t. We’ve figured out especially over the past year that this can just be AMC’s way of trolling you to ensure that you watch the show live. Don’t put any real stock into it.

What do you think of the lineup tonight? Share in the comments, and be sure to head over here for some further news on the show, including a “New Best Friends” sneak peek if you REALLY cannot wait the next hour and a half or so in order to see it.

We’ll be back tonight with a little more reporting if something interesting happens on “Talking Dead.” (Photo: AMC.)
