‘The Bachelor’ episode 8 preview: Andi Dorfman returns; Nick Viall meets Corinne’s nanny

Nick -Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor” is going to be the all-familiar hometown dates one, and judging from the information that we already have about it, this one is going to be especially emotional. How much so? Let’s say that one father isn’t interested in giving Nick Viall his blessing to marry his daughter, Rachel’s mother will be interested to know if he’s ever dated anyone black, and … he has to face off with Corinne’s nanny, who wants to know what his “intentions” are with her. (Corinne’s already made it pretty clear what her intentions are with him…)

The biggest takeaway that we have after watching this preview below (via People Magazine) is that despite being at such an important time in the season, the producers are still very much out to continue making this ridiculous. We don’t know how else you can describe it after seeing Nick have to speak for so long with said nanny before Andi Dorfman enters the picture after knocking on his hotel-room door.

Let’s make it clear: There is probably a number of people out there who are going to make this meeting with Andi out to be more than what it is — the show trolling everyone for attention. If Andi wanted to be a part of Nick’s season, she would’ve joined long before this point in the show. Even Nick joined only a few episodes into Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season before making it all the way to the final two. Andi is likely just going to talk with him, give him some further closure (if he even needed it), and maybe offer him up some advice. This is probably nice for the two of them just on the basis of how ugly the end of her season was — and especially when you think about some of the backlash that came about as a result of her book.

We have already seen Nick in the same room as Andi, as it happened on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” special that aired earlier on in the season.
