’24: Legacy’ episode 2 preview: Where will Corey Hawkins, cast go from here?
The premiere of “24: Legacy” kept you waiting on Sunday night — blame the New England Patriots for that since the HAD to come back from a 25-point lead.
Anyway, the show is not going to make you wait for long at all before you get to the next new episode of the show. After all, it’s airing in just a day’s time! Technically, it’s less than 24 hours away given that the next installment is coming on starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow, which is the show’s normal timeslot. We’re going to see in the process of this episode more opportunities to get to know Eric Carter as a lead, but also more of his past that led to him getting thrown into the CTU.
Here are some quick details regarding what you can see on the show now moving forward…
Synopsis – “When Ben Grimes demands money in exchange for the list he seized from a safe box in Khalid’s compound, Carter must go back to his roots to help obtain the money. Meanwhile, Rebecca is determined to figure out who leaked the Rangers’ files.”
What this tells us more than anything is that no matter how much Rebecca may want to get away from the CTU and this part of her world (if she even does want to get away from it), it’s going to prove to be infinitely more difficult than she ever imagined it would. This is bad news for Jack, who is already having to cover for her sudden absence.
As for Ben and Eric, they’re relationship is in a tricky spot. Eric cares for his old friend, and therefore doesn’t want anything to happen to him; he probably even understands why he needs the money given that his life hasn’t worked out since returning from war. He just knows that the information in that strongbox could get the two of them killed in the process.
One other thing we’re excited for tomorrow is learning precisely how big of a hit the show ends up being. Hopefully, we’ll get a better sense of that in the final numbers.
Also, let’s hope that Rebecca’s not actually the mole all along. That’d be a rather frustrating twist.
