‘The Fosters’ season 4 spoilers: Robert Quinn returns
It feels like it’s been a minute since Robert Quinn surfaced on “The Fosters,” but isn’t the timing about right to get him back on the show? We’d say so, if for no other reason than that he is such an integral part of Callie’s backstory. We know his perspective on things such as his relationship with her, and we don’t see him as someone who will ever be permanently gone.
As for what brings him back in the forefront of the show, we don’t want to give too much away; however, we will say that Kerr Smith (who plays the character) turns up in the episode airing on Valentine’s Day, where he expresses some displeasure with how Stef and Lena are revealing things to him when it comes to Callie. He wants to be in the know for major life events, at the very least.
When “The Fosters” does return on Tuesday night with new episodes, clearly we are going to see Callie in a rough place. After all, her life will be hanging in the balance because of a decision that she made to get in a car; however, when she does get out she will have to face some harsh ramifications of some of the information that she publicly disclosed. Do you really think that someone like Justina is going to be able to let everything go after all these two have been through? Probably not.
In the end for Callie, happiness is all we ever want for her, but in the process of obtaining that, she does need to learn how to better get out of her own way. This is, to date, something she’s struggled with immensely, and we’re not entirely sure that it is something that she is going to be able to figure out soon. She has to figure out how to fight for what she wants without their being devastating consequences (if that’s even possible).
