‘Suits’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Will Harvey fix things with his family?

Tonight, “Suits” returned to USA with new episodes, and it did so with an episode that established a wide array of different things. We had an opportunity to witness a new shakeup of power when it comes to PSL, or whatever it is going to be called now, and we also saw Mike Ross start to realize that there were not too many different options available to him. Harvey offered him a chance to go back and do some work at the firm, but that was not something that he was particularly receptive to taking on at the moment.

At the end of the episode, one of the more interesting moments came when Donna told Harvey that if he ever wanted to be whole, he needed to try and make things right with his family. That looks to be one of the many things coming in “The Painting.” The problem that could be coming along with that is that it forces Louis right back into a position of power, even though it was just determined that he was not exactly capable of leading just yet.

Synopsis – “Harvey tries to repair a broken relationship – leaving Louis, Donna and Rachel to manage PSL in his absence. Meanwhile, Mike gets a helping hand from an unexpected place.”

Who would want to help Mike? That is one of the bigger mysteries that we’ve got right now, but we almost wish that it’d be Robert Zane just to have the character around more. The thing that we would find complicated with that, though, is that Mike’s said that he wants to try to do good in the world — how would working for Robert be any different than what he was just doing? It could be perceived as him getting right back into the same place that he was just in.

Promo – For the first time in years, Harvey will visit his mother, but it doesn’t seem like most of the family is excited to see him. As a matter of fact, his presence seems to mostly open old wounds more so than anything else.
