‘Lucifer’ season 2, episode 13 (winter finale) spoilers: Will Lucifer save Chloe from death?

Tonight, “Lucifer” contained many happy moments when it comes to the relationship between the title character and Chloe, and we’re sure that for many people, that brought a smile to their faces.

Unfortunately, these smiles aren’t necessarily going to last moving into the next new episode, since we’re going to see Chloe in a place where she is in serious danger. Is he going to be able to be there for her when she absolutely needs him? We figure that he’s going to try, but this is a race against time and he doesn’t have all of the resources. Also, he could be distracted courtesy of some things going on with his mother and everyone else. Chaos is the name of the game moving into “A Good Day to Die,” and we should know that this is also a pretty terrifying title for an episode. It’s also the winter finale, and after this one airs, there’s a good chance that you’ll be stuck on a cliffhanger for the next couple of months. (Since when would this show tie everything up in a neat little bow?)

Synopsis – “Lucifer must find the antidote to the Professor’s poison before it kills Chloe. He travels to hell to find the Professor’s soul and get him to turn over the antidote. While he’s there, he is forced to confront his guilt about Uriel’s death. Mom heads to hell to get Lucifer back, but Lucifer still feels betrayed by his parents because of something he discovers.”

Here’s the good news: If “Lucifer” is going to be going on hiatus, at least it will be doing so with one of its most exciting episodes to date. Hopefully, this is going to be enough to keep the buzz going so that the ratings remain the same when it returns. You always have to worry about things like this.

Promo – This gives you a good sense of not only the amount of danger that Chloe is going to be in, but also precisely everything that we’re going to be seeing Lucifer do in order to keep her safe. Given that we’ve already seen one Lauren German show in “Chicago Fire” kill her character off recently, can’t we get something different this time around? Please?
