‘The Bachelor’ episode 4 spoilers: Does Corinne Olympios anger Nick Viall during Group Date?

Through the first three episodes of “The Bachelor” this season, we’ve seen a prevailing tradition: Corinne Olympios going HARD in her pursuit of Nick Viall, and him for the most part responding favorably to the attention. However, at the same time the majority of the women have grown frustrated and disappointed over it … and understandably so. Let’s be honest here: If you were wanting attention from a guy and saw him doing some crazy stuff with someone else inside a bouncy castle, you’d start to feel a little bit like storming off. That’s probably why Vanessa Grimaldi did a good job of representing most of America on this past episode.

Could we finally be seeing a turning of the tide when it comes to Nick’s feelings towards Corinne on Monday night’s new episode? We’re starting to get a sense of that from the promo below, first posted by People Magazine. While this could just be clever editing, it seems to show Corinne sitting around by herself during the Group Date, not showing an interest in wanting to participate in some of the activities taking place during Nick Viall’s home state of Wisconsin.

If this is the case, what’s her reasoning for it? We see there being three possibilities here.

1. Given that this Group Date involves people having to do some inane farm activities, maybe she didn’t want to get dirty and gross as a result of it.

2. Given that this is Corinne, maybe she just thought that isolating herself would mean that he would come over and check up on her; in turn, maybe she thought that this attention could lead to a rose.

3. There’s also the classic case of someone who makes an impression early on getting really irritated over not getting a one-on-one date when they want one. Maybe this is her way of protesting that. Little does Corinne know that if these antics continue, we do think that she’s got a great shot of being abandoned on an island somewhere similar to Olivia during the infamous two-on-one date a little bit later in the season.
