‘Celebrity Big Brother’ spoilers: Ray J leaves; did Austin Armacost quit?

CBB -

If you wanted to see an epic “Celebrity Big Brother” meltdown, we’re pretty darn clear that we got that when it comes to Tuesday’s episode. We had several screaming matches, Stacy Francis getting more emotional than we’ve seen her to date, and Austin Armacost officially saying that he had enough with negativity and the overall terrible vibes that the house brought his way.

While we’re not going to say that his meltdown in the diary room was the biggest one that we’ve seen over the course of several seasons covering the show, we do think that it has to be fairly near the top of the list. What we didn’t quite understand is why production didn’t just choose to get him out of there after this meltdown. Sure, you can bring him back to the house and hope that things somehow get better, but what are the action odds of that happening? It definitely didn’t feel like they were all that high, and this is precisely why we ended up finding himself in the confrontation with Jamie by the episode’s end.

What was this entire confrontation all about? Basically, Jamie wanting to open the door for him on the way out. Also, he told Austin that he didn’t think that he was going to go anywhere. This was all about Austin getting all the more riled up.

Now, here’s the kicker: Ray J is gone. Despite all of the threats, Austin is still there, and there is a public vote coming. (We’ll have more on why Ray J left soon…)

As a whole, though, we gotta say that this season is living up to some of its billing: It’s been crazy, funny at times, and frustrating at others. After hearing about Angie Best going on and on about her healthy lifestyle, we really would’ve been fine if she strutted her way out the door sooner rather than later.

What do you think: Should Austin have just been allowed to leave in confessional? Share right now in the comments! Also, be sure to head over to the link here to get some other news when it comes to “Celebrity Big Brother” right now. (Photo: Channel 5.)
