‘Teen Wolf’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Cody Christian’s Theo has some heart surgery

Theo, have a heart. He probably needs one based on the latest sneak peek below for Tuesday night’s new episode of “Teen Wolf,” which may take the cake for one of the most messed-up scenes that we’ve witnessed on the show in quite some time.

We only just saw the character return recently to the series, and already, he’s shown himself to be a potential asset in that he possesses some unique knowledge of Stiles that no one else really has. Because of where he was, he didn’t feel the sort of impact from the Ghost Riders that anyone else did.

It’s too bad that this doesn’t seem to be helping him in the slightest when it comes to trying to fend off his sister here, who eventually comes up to him and rips his heart right out. It’s true that this is far from the first time we’ve seen something like this happen on a supernatural show, but what probably makes it a little bit different here is that it’s happening at a pace that is slower and a little bit more drawn-out. You’ve got more of a focus on the gory details than we’ve had on some other shows in the past.

For Cody Christian, we can only imagine what it was like filming this scene — maybe in some ways it was exciting, but we have to figure that at the same time, it may have been a little bit nasty knowing what was going to be taking place here. Don’t you think it’s worth it, though? For the sake of the shock value, definitely so.
