‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 7, episode 12 video: The search for Chin

For anyone who follows “Hawaii Five-0” closely, odds are you know the stakes already entering Friday night’s new episode: Chin was captured by the Cartel in a deal he made to ensure Sara’s safety. Now it is up to the rest of the team in order to get a little bit of help.

In the first sneak peek below from Friday night’s new episode, it turns out that the team’s getting a bit of a surprise helper in the form of Adam, who turns up in Mexico in order to assist Kono, Grover, and everyone else in the search. Given how difficult finding Chin is going to be, especially since they’re not really brimming with incentives to keep him alive, ensuring that he’s safe is going to prove itself to be no easy task. That’s why it’s pretty great to see Adam there, and we’re hoping that for at least the remainder of the season, we’re going to have some more chances to see him than we would otherwise.

As for what else is coming in the episode, the second preview paints a rather fantastic picture of some of the struggles that are coming up for Jerry — namely, he’s homeless. Actually, he doesn’t really seem to think of it as a “struggle” at all since he likes sleeping at the Five-0 offices here and there to get a little bit of natural light. He hasn’t quite had a secure place for himself ever since he and Chin stopped living together, and as a result of that, he’s been a little bit nomadic.

Given how Steve and Grover both seem to be in reasonably good moods during their chat with Jerry, and that it seems to be happening following their trip to Mexico, here’s to hoping that they found a way to bring Chin home in one piece.
