‘Chicago PD’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Halstead runs a check on Lindsay’s ‘father’

Chicago PD -Tonight, “Chicago PD” aired its second episode in two days, and introduced a variety of different stories. You had the arrival of Nick Wechsler in the role of Kenny Rixton, but with that you’ve got Ruzek taking off for an undercover mission, one that he may be taking just because he’s having a hard time with Burgess still being around and in the house.

So where are we going moving into the next episode? We can tell you for now that the title of this particular installment is “You Wish,” and one of the things that you can expect to see in it is Halstead taking action when it comes to Lindsay’s father. He wants to protect her, and as a result of that, making sure that he is actually her father is a big part of that. At the same time, let’s just say that there is also a larger case that is going to command a lot of attention.

Synopsis – “When a mutilated sex offender is found dead, it is unclear if he was the victim of a hate crime, sexual assault or self-mutilation. As Intelligence questions those related to the case, they find themselves up against a private “special police” force who may be covering up illegal activities. Meanwhile, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) runs Jimmy’s (guest star Tony Crane) DNA to confirm that he is actually Lindsay’s (Sophia Bush) father.”

The private-police story is mostly compelling because this is an era where people really do need to trust the police, especially in a place like Chicago where there is so much violence and death. This is something that you can see a little bit more about in the promo below.

Do you think that Jimmy is really Lindsay’s father, and where do you want to see this and some other stories go? Share in the comments, and be sure to head over to the link here for some other news related to the show. (Photo: NBC.)
