‘Chicago PD’ season 4, episode 10 preview: Sophia Bush’s Lindsay meets her biological father

Chicago PD

Tonight, “Chicago PD” concluded its “Chicago Fire” crossover event with the story of how Kelly Severide managed to get out of police custody, and how Burgess and Olinsky started to get on the same page as partners — though it is very clear to her at the moment that this collaboration is not going to be easy. He is going to test her, and she will have to prove herself in many ways.

While Burgess’ story will continue moving forward into next new episode, it may actually be Lindsay’s that takes center stage based on some of the information that is out there … including what we’ve got for you below from tomorrow night’s episode. (Yes, there is still another episode tomorrow.)

Synopsis – “After the body of young woman is found with multiple gunshot wounds, Intelligence uncovers details of her case that are similar to other deaths. They work to link all of these murders together to pin down the serial killer, and appease the families of the victims who have been looking for answers. Meanwhile, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) decides to meet her biological father (guest star Tony Crane) for the first time, and Voight (Jason Beghe) welcomes Kenny Rixton (guest star Nick Wechsler) to the team when Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) takes an undercover assignment.”

There are a few different interesting character stories in here. Of course (and as mentioned), Lindsay has a great story coming up, given that her father is this big part of her past that she’s never really stared in the eye before. As for Burgess, it’ll be interesting to see how Ruzek’s decision to depart for this operation impacts her moving forward. At the same time, we’re intrigued by getting Wechsler, an actor we very much enjoy watching, on the show, especially since he could provide a great new foil for Voight.
