‘Suits’ season 6, episode 11 spoilers: Who’s coming back?
One of the great things about “Suits” as a series is that they do a rather wonderful job of rotating in recurring players every now and then, and making it feel as though Manhattan is a small world — even when it’s not.
For one example of this, just look at how much of Neal McDonough we got to see in the first half of season 6, a pretty stunning event when you think about how he was able to juggle his schedule between that show and his work over in the “Arrow” universe on the CW. Now, we can confirm via TVLine that Amanda Schull has somehow found the time, despite being rather busy with “12 Monkeys,” to come over to the USA hit once more as Katrina.
Katrina is going to appear in the show’s first episode back, and there will be some tense moments between her and Louis Litt. What the show offers up, via executive producer Aaron Korsh, is that her return is directly related to the departure of Jessica Pearson at the end of the summer portion of the season.
Given the ties to Katrina and Robert Zane, and then also the bailout offer-of-sorts that Robert made Jessica last season, you have to figure that all of this is somehow involved in one way or another. As for what we’re ultimately going to see, that is a part of the mystery, and the fun of the show.
In addition to seeing how Louis and Harvey Specter move forward following Jessica’s exit, expect the winter premiere to explore further some of what happens for Mike Ross in the wake of him getting out of prison. We imagine that there are going to be some surprises in store for him; let’s hope for some sort of comeback, but we imagine that given his jail time, nothing is going to altogether come easy for him. This isn’t a show with a tendency to cut corners with issues like this.
