‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Meet Dominique Alexis, server and Chipotle lover

Dominique -Ladies and gentlemen, meet the first source of good press that Chipotle’s had in a rather long time! Dominique Alexis is a contestant on the upcoming season of “The Bachelor” starring Nick Viall, and judging from what we’re seeing about her, she really loves the Mexican chain. We wish honestly that there was something more distinguishable about her personality, but we don’t have a lot to go on here.

Regardless of that, we still feel like it’s our sacred duty as a member of Bachelor Nation to do our best to profile Dominique this season, and share how well she could do as one of Nick’s contenders.

Age – 25. She fits right into the average of many of the women that are cast on almost any season of the show.

Occupation – Server. Typically, this job means that she’s got some aspirations of doing something further and connecting with people, which makes some sense given where she’s from…

Location – Los Angeles, California. It’s the city of dreams! This is also a valuable location given how much time Nick spends in LA, and how this could influence who he chooses this season. (There are a lot of people who are from the area this time around.)

Things to know – In addition to loving Chipotle, she’s also a big travel fan and has tried to meet guys in the past on Tinder. Like a wide array of other people in the world, that hasn’t quite worked out.

Dominique also loves two things that almost half of the people on this season seem to — “Titanic” and Olivia Pope! Did ABC have a box during these applications saying “check here if you want to give us product placement for ‘Scandal’ or something”? We don’t remember there ever being as many shout-outs to a single show as there is this year, which is kind ironic given that the “Scandal” ratings are down versus previous seasons. Dominique also says that she’d want to be Kerry Washington’s character if she could be a fictional character, where we’re not sure we would ever want given that this character’s gone through hell and beck. We’d want to be someone like the character who just sits around on the beach all day and chills.

How is she actually going to do? – We could easily see her getting lost in the shuffle early, or falling victim to the unfortunately minority curse where a high percentage of these contenders end up going home before we roll around to the final four. This is a more diverse season than usual, so this at least gives us hope in that department. Sadly, we just don’t get enough of a sense through her bio and limited information online that she’s a match for Nick.
