‘Suits’ season 6: Don’t expect any other significant departures — at least for now
The sixth season of “Suits” will be returning in the new year with another run of episodes, and that is absolutely a cause of great celebration. Yet, at the same time it’s certainly worth noting that there is a certain degree of uncertainty coming up regarding the story still to come. Mike Ross is now out of prison, and we don’t know precisely what his future holds; meanwhile, at the same time Harvey and Louis are left to scramble somewhat after Jessica made the decision to move away and start anew.
While there may not be much that we can say definitely about the back half of episodes just yet, we can at least make the following rather clear: There are no plans for there to be another major departure coming up in the cast this season. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Aaron Korsh confirmed that no other series regular will be departing the show during the final episodes of the season — consider that a chance to breathe a sigh of relief.
As to where these rumors likely stemmed from, we don’t necessarily think that this is all that hard to figure out. Remember here that there is one star of this show in particular who’s spent a substantial amount of time in the spotlight lately, and as a result of that, it should not come as too great of a surprise that there would be some people interested in stirring the pot and suggesting that them or other people are leaving the show. Not happening. What’s easy to forget is that the people within this cast are at this point a family and are extremely tight. They film in Toronto, and as a result of being away from their homes in many cases, that likely makes the bond even tighter.
Ultimately, this news likely means that you can take advantage of a chance to worry about a lot of other things when “Suits” comes back — such as what’s coming for these characters. You shouldn’t also have to wonder about headlines happening off-screen.
