NBC’s ‘The Voice’ alum Hannah Huston returning Tuesday night; Blake Shelton, OneRepublic also set to perfrom
Over the past several days, the folks over at “The Voice” have run a vote via Amazon Echo in order to determine what alumni from the show would come back to perform on the next results show airing Tuesday night, and we are very much pleased to confirm that we have a winner!
As you would guess judging by everything else that is posted within this article, former finalist Hannah Huston is going to be performing on Tuesday night’s results show. It’s a move that the show announced on their official Twitter page earlier in the day, and Hannah will join Blake Shelton and OneRepublic as performers on the night.
Hannah’s performances on the show throughout were for the most part well-received, and we would argue that she does have one of the best finale singles through the ten-season history to date in “I Call the Shows” (at least of the artists who had original singles at the end of their season). She worked with Pharrell Williams, so the one bummer that comes out of this is that Pharrell’s not a part of this season to cheer her on. Two of the coaches in Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are new to the show this year, so for any alumni who is to return, there will be a certain essence of unfamiliarity.
This results show should prove to be a particularly eventful one, given that in addition to all of these performances, there will be the biggest cut of the season to date. The remaining eight artists will be narrowed down to four, and they will have the chance to move on and compete for the title later this month.
