‘This Is Us’ episode 10 preview: ‘Last Christmas,’ Hanukkah, and more

This Is Us -This Is Us” brought us a new episode last week on NBC that served a rather significant purpose: Giving us some of the aftermath of everything that happened at Thanksgiving. The Rebecca – William revelation pulled apart pretty much everything that Randall knew about his life, and the trust that he had with his mother. Is he ever going to forgive her for keeping this secret from him his whole life and lying to him when he had questions about his father? We saw him tell her that he understood her pain in keeping that secret, but that she wasn’t off the hook.

So where are we going now? Well, how about another holiday! “Last Christmas” is the title for next week’s new episode, which should also be the last episode for the year. Ironically, Christmas won’t be the only holiday celebrated in here as we’re going to be bouncing around a little bit in between the past and the present as we start to get some further insight into what life is like for this family at this special time of year.

Synopsis – “The Pearson family finds themselves at the hospital on Christmas Eve after little Kate comes down with appendicitis. When they run into Dr. K, who is alone at the hospital, they realize they need to be there for him as much as he was once there for them. Presently, Kevin celebrates Hanukkah with Olivia and her family, Kate continues to pursue her big surgery and someone from William’s past reappears in his life.”

As for how this episode will end, that’s the thing that we have a certain degree of anxiety over! Just remember for a minute here how the last episode ended and with Randall feeling so disjointed and lost, we are afraid for him and what this could mean for the family.

Promo – “Nothing bad ever happens on Christmas Eve.” That was said here, and immediately, we’re worried as a result.
