‘Saturday Night Live’ promotes Emma Stone show with highlight reel

This weekend, you’re going to see the return of Emma Stone to “Saturday Night Live” for the first time in a little while as a host, and as a result of that, what we’ve got for you below is a nice little reel of some of her highlights from her past appearances on the show.

While Emma’s done the show before on multiple occasions, it’s not like she’s a member of the five-timers’ club or anything like that. Therefore, it’s pretty impressive that she has this much of a highlight reel at all at the moment with a variety of different characters and styles of comedy.

There are many different reasons out there as for why you should be excited that the “La La Land” star is hosting the show tonight, but we would contend that one of the biggest ones should just be that she herself is a huge fan of the show and live comedy in general. She respects it, loves to be a part of it, and has even come back in small appearances even when she’s not hosting. She’s got a Tom Hanks quality to her in that sort of way, and we all certainly know that Hanks was one of the bigger hosts that we’ve seen for the show in a rather long span of time.

For those of you who are looking for more of a proper “SNL” promo featuring Stone, we certainly believe that this is coming a little bit later in the week. For now, just remember for a minute that the cast and crew were on hiatus for much of the past week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
