‘Talking Dead’ spoilers: Alanna Masterson, Elvira join Chris Hardwick

Tonight’s episode of “The Walking Dead,” at least based on some early indications that are out there, is going to run longer than your typical installment. Therefore, you better be prepared to devote most of your Sunday night to both this show and “Talking Dead” if you’re planning to check both of them out.

Per AMC, we’re going to be seeing from the show’s cast Alanna Masterson on tonight’s episode, which really shouldn’t surprise anyone given the promotional material that is out there for “Swear” so far. It looks like Tara and Heath are going to have an integral role to play in the story, and therefore she should have a considerable about to say about it.

Meanwhile, we’ve also got a very interesting guest coming in Elvira a.k.a. Cassandra Peterson. Hopefully as the Mistress of the Dark she’s going to have an interesting perspective on things related to the show. When we first heard about this our first thought was Marilyn Manson, and we certainly at least this episodes goes better than that one did. We personally consider that to be one of the strangest episodes of any aftershow we’ve seen.

We should also mention here that comedian Jonah Ray could also be joining his fellow Nerdist Podcast co-host Chris Hardwick on the podcast. He’s mentioned on the show’s website, but he wasn’t included in the tweet online announcing the lineup. If he turns out, that’s great given that we’ve always found him to be entertaining. (We’ve listened to the podcast for years, so we are with that in mind a little bit biased.)
