‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: On Barry Allen’s message; Sara Lance – Supergirl dynamic

Even though Barry Allen has not shown up in terms of a physical presence on “Legends of Tomorrow” season 2 to date, he did play a rather important role in the form of a mysterious message that Martin Stein and Jax received earlier this year. This message came from many years in the future, which does make us feel rather good that Barry potentially lives that long.

Given that we’re about see all of these characters collide with each other for the epic four-part crossover event, is it fair to say that this subject will be broached? It does certainly seem that way, based on what Victor Garber told TVLine recently. Barry is going to find out about the message, but what that does in terms of impacting the remainder of the season still very much remains to be seen.

As for another key subject of the crossover, Caity Lotz tells the website that there will be an interesting dynamic that comes out between Sara Lance and Supergirl, one that mostly stems from her having the capacity to do so many rather-unexpected things:

“[She will be] intimidated by her, at first, because she’s used to being the bad b–ch in town … Then all of a sudden comes this alien girl who can, like, levitate and burn things with her eyes. I think [Sara needs to get] over that intimidation and go, ‘OK, I see you.’ She’s impressed by her.”

We feel like the two are going to be just fine, mostly because they’ve got another enormous problem to think about in the Dominators, the mysterious alien race who are out to basically destroy Earth in order to further preserve their own world.
