‘Lucifer’ season 2, episode 10 preview: Could Lucifer’s mom try to turn Chloe against him?

Through at least a good percentage of “Lucifer” season 2 so far, we’ve seen Tricia Helfer’s Mom more or less do her part in order to ensure that she can get the title character to bend to her will. However, that has not exactly happened. Instead, what we’ve seen is Lucifer doing what he can to enforce that Earth is where he wants to be, and also where he seems to be the most valued. If we were to ever lose him from this current world, we’d be missing out on a lot, whether it be some really-interesting cases or his relationship with Chloe, which has to be one of our favorite pairings on TV at present.

So moving into next week’s new episode, it’s going to be desperate times for Charlotte as she is going to do anything and everything that she can in order to ensure that Tom Ellis’ character does precisely what she wants in leaving Earth.

Synopsis – “Charlotte is determined to get Lucifer to leave Earth by turning Chloe against him. Meanwhile, Amenadiel has begun working as Charlotte’s soldier, which makes Maze question his loyalty.”

We imagine that if Charlotte says something to Chloe that jeopardizes their relationship, Lucifer will have to work overtime in order to patch things up once more — in turn, doing some sort of relationship sabotage will probably only increase the odds that he never does precisely what she wants.

No matter what happens in this episode, we have a hard time envisioning that it will be the last of this story. We imagine that all of Charlotte’s actions will reverberate for a good while.
