‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8, episode 10 preview: The mole investigation presses on

NCISTonight, “NCIS: Los Angeles” will be bringing you a new episode that hopefully fulfills many purposes, but still, without question one of the biggest ones is probably going to be to offer up some further insight regarding Callen and his father. Consider this a great opportunity to learn a little bit more about the mythology of such a character, while at the same time we start to look further ahead towards whatever sort of future that they could have together.

In looking beyond this now at next week’s new episode entitled “Sirens,” one of the key story threads that we could be seeing during it is an opportunity in order to further determine precisely what is going to be happening next when it comes to the mole story. This is one that has remained important for the show from the very beginning of this season, and there is still no precise answer regarding how it is going to be coming to a close.

Synopsis – “After an unknown female assailant kills two men disguised as Sherriff’s deputies in front of Callen’s home, the NCIS team gets a new lead in the ongoing mole investigation. Also, Nell visits a prison to interview an inmate withholding information on the department’s leak.”

Let’s hope that Nell doesn’t pull a Beale and show up to prison with a fake grenade. This will be a good test of her interviewing skills in that particular capacity.

Personally, we do hope that this is an episode that either tells us the identity of this person, or gives us a few more hints as to precisely who they could be. More than anything, we do think that this is a story that needs a resolution by the end of at least the first half of the season if the writers want to have the time to move on to some other things.
