‘Suits’ season 6 filming wraps; now, the waiting begins…
For all fans of “Suits” at the moment, we come bearing a mixture of good and bad news. Given that we like to be the optimistic type, let’s start with what will probably make many people out there smile: Filming for season 6 is complete! All of the episodes are now wrapped at least in terms of the actors being on set, and now they can either relax or do other things until season 7.
For proof of this news, just look at the Instagram image below via actress Meghan Markle a.k.a. Rachel Zane. Yes, we’re very much aware of the fact that the majority of the conversation around her right now is tied to her relationship with Prince Harry, but at the same time, that’s not really our focus here. We don’t tend to be the sort of site that covers often what many actors do after they leave set. We prefer instead to discuss what’s happening with them as their characters.
The bad news is that we’re still a couple of months out from being able to watch the remainder of season 6, even though there are many things to be excited about. For example, you’ve got a chance to see with Rachel how she’s feeling in the aftermath of Mike Ross finally being released from prison. It’s a tremendous achievement, and one we assume she will be rather happy to celebrate … even if their wedding plans aren’t entirely clear just yet.
Also Louis Litt is going to be contemplating marriage of his own to Tara, and the firm is going to be facing more hardships than ever before given that Jessica is now departing it. There may be a clean-slate effect that comes into play here, but with one less actress name on the marquee, will it hurt business?
