‘Supergirl’ season 2 spoilers: Confessions, allies, and who from ‘The Flash’ is stopping by
While we are getting a four-part superhero crossover on The CW later this month, in some ways it really feels more like a three-part one when you consider a few factors. For example, we’re not sure just how much of the other heroes you’re really going to be getting on “Supergirl” when its portion of the crossover airs.
Why is that? Well, a lot of it has to do with the fact that National City is in a different part of the multiverse, and it’s hard to bring characters over to it. Still, we can at least guarantee that at least one other character will be joining Barry Allen in coming over this time around: Cisco Ramon! Seeing him around some of these other characters should be quite fun.
As for what else is going on in this November 28 episode entitled “Medusa,” we’re going to be seeing a Thanksgiving celebration! Eliza is going to be coming in to the city to spend time with Kara and Alex, and in the process of that she could tell Kara that Mon-El may be harboring some feelings for her. We’re not sure we want to see “Supergirl” as a series have another Kara romantic subplot just yet, but we’re willing to at the very least see where the story goes.
Elsewhere, be prepared to see Winn and James engage in a heated debate as to whether or not to tell Kara the truth about James new alter-ego of Guardian, while at the same time we’ll have a chance to see Kara working alongside Lena Luthor, most likely as Supergirl, in order to ensure that a new virus unleashed by Cadmus doesn’t end up causing further damage. We do still wonder about Lena’s intentions in the long-term, and maybe this episode will help us to figure that out further.
