‘Blue Bloods’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Can Frank work together with a rival?

Blue Bloods season 7Tonight, “Blue Bloods” is airing an episode that could prove to be rather difficult for Frank Reagan. After all, he has to figure out with the help of a priest if there is a way to get the man to abandon one of the key pillars of his fate for the sake of helping a child in danger.

So where are we going from here? The first thing that we should say here is that you’re going to be waiting for a while to see what’s coming up next on the show. “Unbearable Loss” is the title for this episode, and it will be airing on Friday, December 9. We understand the reason for a repeat next week (nobody’s watching on Black Friday), but why in the world are we not getting a new episode on December 2? It’s a good question, but not one that we have an answer to at the moment. Let’s just get to what you can expect to see here.

Synopsis – “When the son of Frank’s most outspoken critic in the African-American community, Reverend Darnell Potter (Ato Essandoh), is killed, Potter must put aside his contentious relationship with the Reagan family in order to get justice for his son. Also, Erin and Anthony investigate when a convicted felon’s cause of death is inconsistent with injuries he sustained during a prisoner transport van accident, and Jamie learns that a mugger he shot in self-defense.”

Ultimately, we consider this to be a fascinating story, mostly because we don’t foresee this as yet another moral dilemma for Frank. It’s pretty cut-and-dry: Frank has to help Otter make sure that justice is served. We just hope that the two can work on the same page in the process of this so that they can move forward stronger together.

It’s probably a little early to say one way or another if there’ll be much of a Jamie / Eddie story here, but it’s not in the synopsis … for now.
