‘Timeless’ episode 7 preview: ‘Stranded,’ and Garcia Flynn’s true motivations

Timeless -Who is Garcia Flynn really, and what does he want in all of his various different journeys through time? From the onset of “Timeless” as a series, this is something that has remained a focus.

Luckily, we’re now getting to the point where we could start to be seeing some answers come next week when the episode “Stranded” comes on the air. This may be your best opportunity to date to understand more of where this guy is coming from. Not only that, but in the process there may be a few opportunities to see a little bit more of a different era, and a few revelations when it comes to the other characters we already know rather well.

Synopsis – “The team chases Garcia Flynn (Goran Visnjic) to 1754, but after he reveals his true intentions, they’re forced to scramble through hostile territory. Now, if they want to survive, they’ll need to learn to trust each other. Meanwhile, Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) quietly investigates Connor Mason (Paterson Joseph), and Jiya (Claudia Doumit) has a hunch that Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) might be resourceful enough to open a line of communication with the present.”

We still have over half of the season to go after “Stranded” airs, so whatever airs here is certainly not going to spell the end of the show by any means. We’re going to (hopefully) have many more revelations to come, and we’re excited to see the show dive more into it — and also a little bit more in terms of the supporting cast and the team beyond Lucy, Wyatt, and Rufus.

Promo – This really gives you a sense as to what is happening more so than the synopsis does beyond the Flynn reveals. The team is going back to before the American revolution, and while there, they will confront a number of different problems — mostly notably that their time machine is going to break down. Sound troublesome? It certainly is…
