‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: The final nominee of America
America just made their latest move in the “Big Brother OTT” house, and we have a feeling that there are many out there who are going to be none too pleased by it.
Basically, what we saw here was Morgan nominated by viewers for eviction, which means that she and Shelby both have more incentive to try to win the Veto than ever before. It also means, unfortunately, that Kryssie gets to go the entire season without being a nominee for America. Is there tremendous irony in this? Sure, and it goes something like this — if you like a player during the season, you’re okay with them dragging someone along to the end who is completely useless. However, if you don’t like a player who is doing it, then you get mad and talk about how the dead weight “doesn’t deserve to be there.” Look at Derrick and Victoria in season 16 as a fine example of that.
We don’t begrudge Misfit fans for trying to help Danielle and Jason in any way that we can — we understand it. This is a show about likability, so if you see something in these two players that you like and want to help them, it’s your best move. Our sadness mostly comes from the entertainment that would’ve come out of Kryssie realizing that America doesn’t worship the ground she walks on.
Ultimately, the plan here still seems to be to get Danielle out this week, and even Justin had said recently that if he wins the Veto, he’ll use it to remove Morgan from the block as added insurance that Danielle leaves. We’ll see if that happens.
For us, we’re personally looking forward to the day again when viewers aren’t picking nominees and the game-players can just strategize and not worry as much about the outside world. This is the “Big Brother” that we love especially.
