‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Head of Household redo results — and more controversy
For “Big Brother: Over the Top,” it’s been a heck of a controversial past 36 hours. First, you had all of the hot mess surrounding the most recent Care Package, and then, you had Shelby getting a chance to re-do the Head of Household Competition today after a faulty mirror rendered her unable to complete it last night.
Earlier this evening, Shelby and Jason squared off once more in a battle to determine who would be in power for the week, and this time Shelby came out on top — albeit with some further controversy. This time around, it was Jason’s mirror that had a malfunction, but since it happened after Shelby had technically already won the competition, she was given the power for the week.
As we’ve said, we understand being a little salty over the whole ordeal from the Misfit fan perspective, though we’d probably be more annoyed about the Care Package switcheroo on the rules than this. If the same thing happened to Jason or Justin with the first Head of Household Competition last night, we’d hope that there’d be a redo for them, as well. If you want to still get a Ballsmasher out, all you gotta do is nominate Morgan and hope that either she or Shelby doesn’t win the Veto.
For now, it seems like the desired target for Shelby is Danielle, which makes some perfect sense given that she’s won so many competitions already; not only that, but she’s also got the potential to still get a Care Package. She and Justin are the only players left still eligible following Morgan getting one and Whitney going out, so if you’re fine with Justin getting it, you’re better off sending her home now.
Here’s one thing we find really interesting: This week could cause some Misfit fans online to consider their options. While you can target Morgan this week if you so choose, at the same time going after Justin wouldn’t be terrible. If she can get off the block and secure her safety, him leaving would secure her that final Care Package and chance to make the final four. This is the final week of America’s nominee, and with Shelby HoH this week, Morgan will have to win the week after to keep herself and Shelby safe.
All in all, it should prove pretty fascinating as we move further into the week. If you missed it, head over here to read the players’ reaction to Donald Trump getting elected President. (Photo: CBS.)
