‘Secrets and Lies’ season 2, episode 6 video: Eric’s interrogation

There is a new episode of “Secrets and Lies” coming on ABC tonight, and at the center of Sunday’s episode  will be a variety of different questions — not to mention a heck of a lot of intrigue to go along with most of it.

One of the most critical questions that we have based on the sneak peek below is rather simple: What exactly is it that Mr. Peterson wants with Kate? he shows up in this clip to meet with her, and he tells Eric that it has to do with “investments.” Eric then proceeds to interrogate him further, wondering if this is a reporter or someone else brought in to try and stir up some trouble. When he realizes that this is not precisely the case, he lets down at least a few of the walls and starts to open up a little bit more. From here, he tells Peterson that his wife is dead, and all of a sudden the entire tone of the conversation changes.

From here, it’s pretty darn clear that this guy knows something, and unfortunately for Eric, he’s not exactly going to be keen on passing some of this information down. This sneak peek ultimately serves more to raise further questions than answers. This carrot could lead to a variety of other big reveals down the road, which could shatter the foundation of almost everything that we’ve learned about this case to date.

While we cannot offer up too much more information about Sunday night’s new episode just yet, let’s just say that you should also prepare for Cornell to face some problems of her own because of her past, which could lead to a more-than-unwelcome distraction.
