‘Supernatural’ season 12 spoilers: A hunter reunion turns south
The twelfth season of “Supernatural” is one that has, at least to date, really emphasized the hunter in ways that we haven’t seen in some time. After all, bringing back Mary Winchester offers some insight into another generation of these people, and we can’t forget about Lady Toni and the British Men of Letters, who certainly have their own connections to the craft in some way.
For the upcoming November 17 episode entitled “Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox,” it appears as though there could be more of these particular people together than we’ve seen in quite some time. Now that we’ve said that, though, this is hardly a guarantee that they will breathe out much in the way of peace. As a matter of fact, early indications suggest that a hunter reunion is mostly going to bring about someone who is ready and waiting to target them.
Per The CW, Sam, Dean, and Mary are all going to have to work together to stop a demon from picking off hunters one by one while at this get together. For those wondering, the reason for this happening in the first place is because these said hunters want to celebrate the life and death of “one of their own.” Basically, this makes this demon all the more horrible for taking advantage of people during their time of grieving, but they’re a demon! It’s probably not smart to expect anything otherwise to come out of this.
Everything about this episode certainly sounds like it will be entertaining in the way that you’d hope with this show, and it also goes very well in line with what the show hyped itself up to be going into the season, one that would focus more on hunters and some monster-of-the-week cases than the epic mythology of Amara and others.
