‘This Is Us’ spoilers: ‘American Horror Story’ favorite Denis O’Hare
Denis O’Hare is the sort of actor you’d really want in any project. While best known for his parts across several seasons of “American Horror Story,” at the same exact time he has done some tremendous work on some other shows like “True Blood” and “The Good Wife.”
Now, O’Hare’s lined up another fantastic project in “This Is Us,” one of the strongest new shows of the fall. According to a new report coming in from Entertainment Weekly, the actor will be cast in a significant recurring role. While there aren’t too many details about this character available, we do know that he will play the part of Jessie a good friend to of William’s. He will be making his first appearance in the coming weeks.
The unfortunate news about this casting is that it is coming at a time in which we know already that William is no longer alive at a certain point in the timeline. The specifics that get us to that point are still relatively unclear, but it is devastating nonetheless … especially since we learned about this at the same time that we became aware of what happened to Jack in the future, as well.
New episodes of “This Is Us” will continue to air on NBC Tuesday night; meanwhile, there are still several episodes still to go for “American Horror Story: Roanoke” this season, and through those we are hopefully going to have a chance to see a thing or two more regarding what is really going on there. One good thing about the FX series is that it films reasonably short seasons, and that frees up the cast to do a wide array of other things during the offseason.
