‘The Blacklist’ season 4 spoilers: Is there now a future for Aram, Samar?
The fourth season of “The Blacklist” certainly has presented many interesting story shifts, but one that certainly made us happy was a further exploration into Aram’s personal life. He started dating a new woman in Elise, but the problem there quickly became clear: She was a mole for Alexander Kirk. Of course, that led to fractures between the two of them, and he’s now in a position where he could start to look at feelings for other people on the team … including Samar. We know that he had feelings for her before, so could she feel that way for him moving forward? After seeing her communicate with Elise, we do think that it’s possible.
We also certainly feel that way even more after seeing what executive producer John Eisendrath had to say on the subject to Entertainment Weekly:
“Aram made such a bad choice … The fact he made that choice is going to impact his relationship with Samar. In the latter half of the season, the dynamic that Samar and Aram have had, where he has sort of pined for her and she has sort of been romantically indifferent to him, will change.”
We certainly would like to see the two parties get together later this year, primarily since this sort of pairing could offer up happiness and hope for a better future. That’s not something that we’ve seen all that often for members of the Task Force, who work incredibly hard hours trying to put out fires without a whole lot of appreciation for it. There’s also not much that they get to celebrate. For now, Liz is going to have a chance to rejoice in that Baby Agnes is back, but how long are things really going to remain good for her? We can’t imagine it will be for an incredibly long time.
