‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: Wally West starts having visions of Kid Flash
So far on “The Flash” season 3, the struggle’s certainly been real for Barry Allen as he tries to comfort Wally West over what is a rather painful situation for him. He’s a guy who actually wants to be a hero and have the responsibilities that come with it. However, that hasn’t quite happened, and instead he’s had to deal with both Barry and also Jesse Quick having powers. He’s done what he can to try and get them, but the only time we’ve seen Kid Flash to date is in the Flashpoint timeline, where he was the hero protecting Central City.
Will Wally’s powers eventually cross over to this world? While we cannot say that for sure, we can tell you that on the upcoming November 15 episode entitled “Shade,” Wally will start having dreams about becoming the hero. Eventually, that will lead to Barry having to decide how much he wants to tell him about the Flashpoint timeline.
The issue that Barry may be confronting here with Wally is rather simple in that he doesn’t want to create any false hope for Wally, especially since this is a guy who’s shown a history of some reckless behavior patterns over time. The last thing that he wants to do is give him any false hope that someday he could have powers here.
Let’s go ahead and make it clear what we’re really worried about: Wally potentially linking up with Dr. Alchemy at some point if he realizes that he may be the key to getting some of his powers back. Alchemy is responsible for allowing many meta-humans to be reborn in this timeline, though there are still many questions surrounding what he wants and precisely who he is. We are waiting to see how Alchemy could be incorporated into the story next, so who knows? This could be it.
