‘Supergirl’ season 2 spoilers: Kara gets Mon-El a job!
While we may not be entirely sure just yet as to whether or not Mon-El is a good guy on “Supergirl” season 2, we know that Kara is herself inherently good. Therefore, she’s going to do everything that she can in order to further cement ensuring that this guy has a professional future, and that includes trying to land him a job.
We’re going to see this play out between Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood’s characters on the upcoming November 7 episode entitled “Crossfire,” which is going to also feature a dangerous gang of criminals equipped with powerful technology — which, to the surprise of no one, is thanks to a certain “gift” handed down by Project Cadmus. This group remains intent on reminding everyone that they are, in fact, the worst, and are going to do just about everything that they can in order to further prove this. (Of course, in their mind they don’t think what they are doing is wrong at all — they believe their actions are just, which is what makes them so dangerous.)
If you want one more additional tease on this episode, then know that Lena Luthor will be doing her part to invite Kara to a fundraiser. We’re still unsure precisely what her long-term role is going to be on the show this season, but think of this as further evidence that she is not going to go away. So far, we’ve come to think of her as one of the potential forces for good in National City, but we absolutely know how this sort of stuff can end up turning on a dime.
Before we even get to this episode, there are some other story hurdles to cross. For one, Kara’s got to have a few real conversations with Mon-El, while we’ve yet to even meet another important new character in Maggie Sawyer.
