‘Supernatural’ season 12, episode 2 sneak peek: Sam’s torture session
Tonight’s new episode of “Supernatural” is coming in a mere matter of hours, and judging from the new sneak peek below, it feels all the more clear that a certain Sam Winchester is going to need every bit of the help that he can get in order to get out of this particular situation alive.
This entire preview is largely a torture scene for Jared Padalecki’s character, who is trying to bide his time in hopes that someone could rescue him — though with his current state of mind, we’re not sure just how possible he thinks that this is. Lady Tony Bevell is also doing her best here to further establish herself as completely ruthless, and willing to do just about anything that she possibly can in order to get her job done. She claims that torturing people was not originally part of the “job description” for the British Men of Letters, and if that is the case, she certainly seems to be a fast learner!
Let’s get it out of the way that we obviously don’t want anyone hurting Sam — how could we? Yet, at the same time we hope Toni sticks around for a little while given that female adversaries are sometimes hard to come by, in particular ones like her who come with them mythology that is close in some ways to our heroes. Hopefully, we’re getting set to experience a rather fantastic arc moving forward with her, but it’s ultimately too early to tell given that we’re a single episode into the season.
While it may not be in this preview, obviously keep in mind that we’re going to see more of the Lucifer story coming up in this episode, as well.
