‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13, episode 5 sneak peek: Can Riggs win back Meredith?

Thursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” episode is right around the corner, and through that, you’re going to have a chance to see a few specific developments play out on the relationship front.

For one, Dr. Meredith Grey is going to realize that pushing Nathan Riggs away is not going to lead to him leaving her alone. As a matter of fact, it may only have him more interested than ever before! The sneak peek below gives you a little bit of further insight into that, as he remains firmly interested in spending time with her after he makes an offer after she opens up about her broken air conditioner. She seemingly rebukes said offer, but he’s not taking that as a sign to give up and abandon the mission in the slightest.

Is it possible that Riggs eventually convinces Meredith to give this another try? Absolutely, and what makes this personally all the more interesting to us is the notion that the more Riggs works in his pursuit of her, the more likely it is that the entire situation with Maggie blows up in dramatic fashion. She’s a smart woman, and she’s going to start realizing that something is afoot in the event that Riggs makes some of his feelings about her extremely public. Therefore, this is a situation that could turn problematic in virtually the blink of an eye and with one rogue comment that gets out there.

For Riggs and Meredith, we imagine this being rather tricky. With that said, for us we’re already imagining all sorts of great entertainment coming out of it.
