‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: ‘Brothers & Sisters’ alum Marika Dominczyk scores guest role
The latest casting news for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 13 is officially out there, and there is certainly an air of mystery about it! For the time being, here is what we know: Marika Dominczyk has signed up for a stint. That’s really it. The actress is best known for “Brothers & Sisters,” and there’s an interesting Shondaland connection here in that she is the wife of former “Grey’s Anatomy” actor turned “Scandal” star Scott Foley.
As for what the possibilities are here, there are many. The prevailing theory right now in our mind is that she could be the new love interest to Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), given how we know one is supposedly coming at some point this season. However, at the same time you can also speculate easily that this person could be Leah, given that Tessa Ferrer is going to be returning as her character from the past at some point, as well.
The big takeaway one way or the other is that the show does seem to be a good job setting up some interesting storylines for later this season, while simultaneously keeping some of the finer details a bit of mystery. That’s not a particularly easy thing to do.
New episodes are going to continue airing Thursday night on ABC, and for the time being there appears to be a few important storylines playing out: The marriage between Owen and Amelia (leading to her possible pregnancy), getting to see what the future holds for Meredith and Riggs, and of course Alex’s career in the wake of him assaulting DeLuca at the end of this past season. This is not a show that is slowing down with stories even though they are so far into its run.
