‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 5 video: The Sheldon / Amy squabbles continue

If you thought that Sheldon and Amy were going to be able to figure out how to be good roommates for each other in a short period of time on “The Big Bang Theory,” you’ve got another thing coming. Then again, we don’t know how you could have ever thought that this was going to go well. If there are two people who signify “dumpster fire potential” for this sort of living arrangement, it’s these two — mostly because you have someone who really wants to please her boyfriend however she can within reason, and then said boyfriend ready to completely push her to the point where she starts to question her own sanity.

The promo below offers up a small tease as to what is coming in this episode, especially when it comes to one of the central conflicts that is going to set Sheldon and Amy off. He’s going to adhere to a really strict bathroom schedule, and he expects her to do the same. That won’t happen, and from there Leonard and Penny are going to be forced into playing mediator.

While this living arrangement is only temporary, we do think there’s still a chance that it could become permanent. The thing here is mostly that Sheldon and Amy are going to need a little bit of time to start to get used to living with each other, and if that does happen, we actually would not be surprised if they realized that there are enough benefits to keep it going. After all, you gotta remember that Sheldon loves his routine, so maybe over time this becomes the new routine and everything shifts towards this.
