‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: First look at Duane Henry’s return
Over the course of the summer is when we first heard that “NCIS” was planning to promote Duane Henry, who plays the part of Clayton Reeves, to series regular for season 14. However, at the same time, he did not turn up in many of the opening episodes. He was mentioned previous in the season premiere by Bishop, but the show is making you wait until Tuesday, October 18 to see him back in action.
This episode is entitled “Philly,” and per CBS we’ve got a few teases for you as to what to expect.
How Clayton enters the show – Bishop and Alex Quinn are going to travel at the request of Gibbs to Philadelphia, where they will find Reeves. NCIS and MI6 are going to be collaborating thanks to a missing officer for the British organization being tied in some way to a murdered petty officer.
An emotional story – It’s no secret on the show that Quinn was a field agent before going off into teaching, before eventually coming back and working with Gibbs once more. Within this episode, you will have a chance to learn what happened that made her want to leave, and it may be painful to discuss.
The return of Tony Gonzalez – When we first got an appearance from the legendary former tight end, we figured it was a one-off designed solely for the purpose of promoting “The NFL Today.” Now that he is making what we believe to be his third appearance, we wonder what he’s really getting out of these cameos anymore. Maybe he just enjoys them?
We know that October 18 is a little ways still to wait, so if you want some reading material before you get around to that, be sure to check out our most-recent “NCIS” review here. We’ll be back with the next one soon. (Photo: CBS.)
