‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Live Diary rooms, Cornbread’s rantings, and more

Cornbread -Before we get into the live Diary Room component of the “Big Brother OTT” house tonight, were excited to get into the recap just to see if there was any real context into the past day or so. After all, we knew that Jason won the Power of Veto, and that he removed himself from the block. Meanwhile, Kryssie was the replacement nominee and at that time, the target to go home.

We suppose that the most entertaining / awkward part of the episode was Cornbread getting extremely bent out of shape over something as silly as Shelby making some sarcastic comments. She’s an outspoken person, and as a result of that she is going to tick a lot of people off. That sort of stuff is inevitable in this game. Him freaking out about it was hilarious.

What was interesting, though, was learning via Neeley later during the live Diary Rooms that she also didn’t like Shelby, and that doesn’t bode particularly well for her future. The same went for Justin when he went in there.

As a whole, we gotta say that the Live Diary Rooms are in theory a pretty amazing twist, one that adds so much interesting context into the season. We get to know what the players are thinking, really without editing or without some sort of producer prompting them to say things. We haven’t even had time to listen to all of them just yet, but we do think that this is going to be great over the coming weeks.

One final thing: Julie Chen appeared via video to tell the players about America’s Eviction vote. In other words, a vote to send Cornbread out of the game this week. He may have others, given that Scott and others are talking detaching themselves from what he referred to as a “sinking ship.”
