There were many moments on “The X Factor” this week that seemed to shock many people out there, but one takes the cake more so than any other: Christian Burrows not being put through to the live shows. While we would not say he was the best vocalist of the weekend, he is strong in the department; where he really shines is when it comes to connecting to an audience. He made people feel for him, and that is not always the easiest thing in the world to do when you’re on a TV show and there are so many distractions in between the cameras and the judges there.
Luckily, we do think that Christian is taking the exit from Judges Houses rather well. You can see his reaction to the news in a post on his Twitter account below, thanking the show for the opportunity for being able to do what he did for the time he was around.
In the end, we do think that this competition is going to play big dividends for him in that he will be able to go and do some great things for him one way or another. Also, who’s to say that his future is completely done and over with? We’ve seen wild cards get a last-minute reprieve before, just as we have also seen in the past people return to the competition later to find success.
Also tonight, Christian posted a new YouTube version of his “How to Save a Life” cover, which you can listen to below.
