‘Scorpion’ season 3 spoilers: The latest on Toby’s mission

Can you believe that the premiere of “Scorpion” is only a matter of days away? There are many stories that we’re excited to see when the show comes back on CBS, and one that we’re certainly stoked for is learning a thing or two more about Happy’s past. In the season finale, we learned that she is already married, but has not said yet too much about her past with this husband. We hope it’s not a “Grey’s Anatomy” situation where this man is terrible and abusive, but it’s a little too early to know for certain.

What we can tell you is that by the upcoming October 17 episode entitled “Little Boy Lost,” we’re going to have a chance to take a deeper dive into what is going on here. Not only that, but the synopsis below indicates that there is a very critical mission on Team Scorpion’s hands in the form of a missing boy from Ralph’s class:

“Team Scorpion must find a boy from Ralph’s class who goes missing on a field trip after he accidentally has a run-in with a deadly criminal. Also, Toby gets closer to finding out the identity of Happy’s husband.”

There are some episodes of the show that we praise for their silliness, and for combining the right amount of high-octane action with comedy and lighthearted character moments. This one on the surface appears a little more serious, which may be why we are hoping that some further comedy comes out of the Toby story. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to figure out more of what that entails before we even get around to this episode airing.
