‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13 spoilers: Who’s having relationship drama now?

At this particular point in time, you would hope that some of the “Grey’s Anatomy” relationships would start to stabilize. Jackson and April are already divorced, Owen and Amelia recently were married, and based on where we are two episodes in, Meredith and Nathan are keeping things rather hush-hush.

However, by the time the upcoming October 13 episode “Falling Slowly” comes around, we could be seeing somewhat of a change in status for at least one of these pairs — or at least you can call it clarity. Meanwhile, another one could be in some trouble. The synopsis below is a fairly-good indicator of just what you can expect to see:

“Alex tries to do the right thing but still cant catch a break. Jackson and April adjust to their ‘new normal’ with the baby. While Meredith and Nathan establish what’s going on between them, Amelia questions the state of her relationship with Owen.”

Based on where Alex is right now in between the criminal case and with Jo, it’s hard to see anything getting better for him anytime soon. You also have to remember that we’re still super-early in this season. There’s a lot of time for things to start to turn around, and executive producer Shonda Rhimes has shown time and time again that she is someone willing to exercise patience in order to ensure that a story is told the right way. We’d rather have that than a feeble attempt to try and nip a story in the bud.

So, for now, just enjoy seeing these stories through — and hope that none of them end in the most depressing fashions possible.
