Is ‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 15 new tonight? New Halloween teasers

The past couple of weeks have been good to most fans of “Girl Meets World,” at least in the sense that we’ve had a chance to check out a pair of new episodes over the course of the past few weeks in “Girl Meets the Great Lady of New York” coupled with “Girl Meets She Don’t Like Me.” Both have offered up ample opportunities to tell interesting character stories and teach various lessons to Riley Matthews and the remainder of her classmates.

Now, we’re entering what is unfortunately a two-week hiatus between now and when the next episode (entitled “Girl Meets World of Terror 3”) airs on the Disney Channel. The premise of this episode was revealed a little while ago: The show it’s taking an approach similar to “It’s a Wonderful Life,” where we will see an alternate universe in which Riley and Maya are not friends. Maybe through this we’ll understand more of what their friendship truly means to the two of them.

One way to look at the what-if storyline here is almost as an exercise in extremes. By that, what we mean specifically is that for someone like Riley, she may not have any edge whatsoever because she’s not spending time around Maya. Meanwhile, for Maya maybe she will be even more off the rails now that she doesn’t have the same influence from Riley and her family. While we don’t necessarily need to see more than one of these episodes over the course of a show’s run, we do like getting one of them just from the vantage point of a character experiment.
