‘Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X’ episode 3 preview: Is there a tribe swap already?
Tonight’s new episode of “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” was excellent — we don’t know how else to describe it. We hated losing Mari, but at the same exact time we enjoyed the heck out of seeing a good blindside. Almost all of the credit should go to Michelle for this one, who was pretty brilliant in getting people over to her side and doing precisely what she wanted them to do.
So while all of this gameplay was great and she’s in a good position for now, the one thing we know quite well about “Survivor” is that being in a good spot doesn’t last for long. Based on the preview for the next new episode, there could be a tribe swap coming sooner rather than later — or at least some sort of twist where someone gets to flip over and join the Gen X tribe. All of a sudden Zeke and Adam look to be on the outs, and they could really benefit from that.
The only person who should feel reasonably safe entering episode 3, at least based on what we saw tonight, is David — which is ironic, given that he may be the worst challenge competitor out there. He’s just the only person with a hidden immunity idol, which could turn out to be incredibly valuable for him down the line. We’re not even sure if anyone on the Millennials has been hunting for the idol, but maybe some will following what we saw tonight.
Here’s to hoping that we have another change in the game soon, given that 1) Adam is our pick to win and 2) Zeke is absolutely incredible television.
