‘Blue Bloods’ season 7 spoilers: First look at ‘Mob Rules’
We will be the first to admit that we’re not always the biggest fan of mob storylines in general. Therefore, we admit that we are a little concerned about “Mob Rules” being the title for an upcoming “Blue Bloods” episode set to air on October 14. It’s not that we have an overt bias against the mob genre, but it’s really hard to deliver the complexities in something like organized crime over the course of an hour. It needs a much longer arc to give us the true inner workers of something that massive.
If you are interested in getting a little more information about this upcoming story, be sure to look at the attached synopsis below:
“Intent on bringing justice to Lieutenant Gormley after he is beaten by a mob outside his home, Danny and Frank enlist the aid of Detective Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa), who has a personal connection to the neighborhood where the attack occurred. Also, Eddie and Jamie witness a dishonest arrest, and Danny searches for a witness to testify against a dangerous gang leader.”
The good news is that even if there is not enough time to really dive into what happens to Gormley over the course of the episode (there could still be, depending on just how economic the show is with its storytelling), we’re hoping that getting to see some morality discussion with Jamie and Eddie after this arrest will make up for it. While we’re still hoping for more from these two on a personal level, seeing their partnership evolve is certainly exciting for now.
