‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10, episode 2 video: What does the government want with Howard?

While Howard Wolowitz did have a story during the premiere of “The Big Bang Theory” this past week, we’d for the most part consider it to be a relatively minor one. After all, what we really ended up seeing out of it was him learning that a certainly high-ranking Air Force official was interested in speaking with him.

Now, that said official is set to play a much larger role on Monday’s episode. The latest proof comes via the promo below, which features Dean Norris front and center as he continues his own “investigation” (if you want to call it that) into what Howard is working on. Judging from a Sheldon line, it does seem as though whatever the government wants with Howard’s technology, it could lead to some dangerous military uses.

Basically, what we’re left to wonder is this: Has Howard created a monster, and in some way bit off more than he can really chew. He works within a field where such things are possible, and the best of intentions can somehow turn into something else entirely.

Of course, maybe we’re going a little too far down a rabbit hole with our description here. After all, it’s not of our belief that this is a particularly dark show, and therefore one out to tell a wide array of overly depressing stories about the fate of humankind. There’s likely going to be some sort of humorous outcome in the end.
