‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: McGee prepares to propose!

Love is in the air on “NCIS” season 14! We’ve heard for some time that the character of McGee was going to be taking his relationship with Delilah to the next level, and with that, we’re rather thrilled to have some further info today on one particularly important story coming October 11. While we don’t know for sure if he will be popping the question during this episode (entitled “Love Boat”), we do at least know that romance is going to be on his mind.

“After the body of a navy lieutenant is discovered aboard a destroyer during a tiger cruise, when civilian guests are allowed to spend the night on the ship, Gibbs, Quinn and Palmer travel out to sea to investigate. Also, McGee contemplates the perfect proposal for Delilah Fielding.”

What’s interesting about this episode to us besides the McGee storyline is that we have a storyline revolving around Gibbs, Quinn, and Palmer, a very unusual combination of characters who we wouldn’t imagine would be spending a lot of time together. Given that we’d be celebrating Jimmy making an appearance into a synopsis before this season with the influx of all of these new characters, it only feels appropriate to also do so here. It’s good to see that the show is continuing to try to innovate and be creative as so much of it has shifted to start off the year.
